Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted and driven to your hotel before starting your exploration of the capital. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a walk through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, including a rickshaw ride. Stop by Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Drive past India Gate and the Parliament House to see the grand colonial architecture. In the afternoon, visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites showcasing exquisite Mughal craftsmanship. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi – Agra
After breakfast, drive to Agra, a city steeped in Mughal history. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone structure that was both a defensive fortress and imperial residence. Later, enjoy a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, a serene riverside garden opposite the monument. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the Taj Mahal directly at sunset if preferred. Spend the night in Agra.
Day 3: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
Start your day early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, if not done the previous day. Witness the monument in the golden light of dawn and learn about the love story that inspired its construction. After breakfast, depart for Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the once-flourishing capital of Emperor Akbar. Explore its historic red sandstone buildings including Buland Darwaza, Diwan-i-Khas, and Jodha Bai’s palace. Arrive in Jaipur by evening, check into your hotel, and relax.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing
